HEAVEN OR HELL ?

Am slightly doubtful as how far this will turn out to be a victorious concept, but rather confident that something will be perceived only if tried for and cannot predict the result even before attempting it. Henceforth, I have been set all the way to plunge into action, making myself ready for the electrifying trial.

It was like as though I opened my eyes in the midst of deep meditation or a nightmare, surrounded by darkness and utter chaos, without a small clue of where am I present exactly. Am completely worn out, aged and this seemed to have occurred in no time.

Not sure whether it is the land or air, dream or reality and also couldn’t make out whether am awake or asleep, in solitude or in crowd. Everything around created a brand new fresh feeling to sense! Unable to resist this weird experience, tried to get up and walk but with each step I took forward, things around moved front too. It took little time to realize that am going backward with every move made, which is contrary in nature.

Excitement along with wonder urged to know “Where the hell am I ?!?”

It wasn’t the hell actually but an intuition prompted me this is going to be better in one way and worse in another way! Slowly dim light rays emerged from above while am on the move still, creating partial gloomy and cloudy sensation enabling to see through fractionally.

Suddenly from nowhere thousands of people approached me from opposite direction, chanting my name and showering their wishes at me. The whole area appeared to be filled with ecstasy, happiness and all sort of exaltation of spirit inducing one to be overjoyed.

Thrill increased with the reason for celebration not known. I endured a state of bewilderment yet enjoyed to the core being the center of attraction for such a massive merrymaking.

Then I observed a strange recurring thing. In all the directions my eyes gazed, there were shining flickering hoardings bearing felicitation for the achievement I have done. This also made me exhilarated as it seemed to be visible only for me since none other took notice of it, adding to the obscure situation prevailing.

Bypassing the throng am set anew to undergo next odd state. Here I saw enormously large buildings that constituted a city like impression. The facade of all edifice are more or less similar with infinite storied structure making impossible to know about the exact number of floors. My marching continued till am awestruck with the exquisiteness of one particular apartment which also attracted me with a profound familiarity.

Automatically I tend to explore that apartment which had splendid interiors rather than its exterior work. Each and every room bore the resemblance of research related place and has got one lengthy peculiar name inscribed on a hanging nameplate put in front of it, marking an identity. One such name caused me to come to a stand still and it was none other than my own name.

The unraveling mystery continued. “What is my part in such a vague spot?”, question stimulated my sleeping mind to carve an answer for all the haphazard events occurring yet it rested again in vain since a conclusion could not be obtained.

Unable to resist this any further, entered and made a clear study of that room and also saw a random blurred visual in an enlarged screen in which I was seen working with a group of scientists showing series of images of Planets in varied angles, Satellites and telescopes of variety of shapes and structures and lot more theories and photos that remained connected to Solar system, Star system, Cosmos or Galaxy but didn’t get a clear concept. Shock waves ran down through my spinal since the visual was played in a reverse order from the end to the beginning.

Exhausted of the same intolerable events I forced myself to move out of the place immediately in order to have a breath of fresh air. Next step waited ahead right in front of me making me to realize the fact that am not entirely out of the prevailing disorientation.

The shimmering miraculous daze made me to ramble and came to a halt by falling to the ground. Strained myself to return back to normal, wherein the existing dim light faded away little by little and vanished once for all leaving behind me in loneliness again.

Once when regained consciousness I found myself sitting in a dark room. After tedious attempt finally am able to pinpoint the issue behind the incoherent happening. But the task said to be accomplished is not in any way a cakewalk.

Being a scientist it had been my sought after wish to bring about a change in the normal working principle of living. For this purpose tried a concept only after retrieving myself out of my memory and experimenting with a most often demanded concept by people. They wish, Life would have been best if it provides us with a rewind or fast forward option, unknowing of the deadly consequences its hiding within it.

Trapped by the same plot I tried for the same and now have landed in a turmoil. I have been undertaking a research to reinvent the universal rules to attain a complete solution for compensating the left of 3 days in February, 29 days occurring every 4 years else ending up with 28 days as the least.

The point to be noted is following the experimenting phase am now in a crucial situation to obtain a solution compulsorily which is damn sure to happen in future at any cost, as I have seen the after effects of it. The effects am yet to endure to bring it into real world concept will be horrible, dreadful, terrible or whatever worst it will be.

Be it a heaven or hell, I don’t care for it in a range of bit or byte and now I swear to pack up my research forever and move for dinner now!

Coffee -Second Cup

DANCING GOATS:

The earliest credible evidence of either coffee drinking or knowledge of the coffee tree appears in the middle of the fifteenth century at Ethiopia. But the time line indicates that origin of coffee dates back to 1000BC when its existence came to be known and coffee was discovered at around 5AD. Ethiopian shepherds were the first to notice the effects of caffeine when they saw their goats become frisky and dance after eating the coffee berries. So the dancing goats were believed to be the reason behind the discovery of coffee.

NAMEOLOGY – ‘CHAUBE TO COFFEE’:

The first ever name given to coffee was CHAUBE in 1573. The word coffee in English is derived from the Dutch word koffie, one possible origin is from the kingdom of kaffa, where the coffee plant actually originated. Our tempting topic has got other fascinating names to its credit including ‘cup of joe’, ‘jave’, ‘kona’, ‘dessert’, ‘columbia’, ‘java’, etc some of which are indigenous. This black drink replaced wine in many religious ceremonies because it kept the mohammedans awake and alert during their nightly prayers, so they had honored it with the name coffee, they had originally given for wine.

BOTANICAL SPECIES:

The two main species of coffee beans are 1.Arabica and 2.Robusta. 70% of the world consumes Arabica coffee which is mild and aromatic, the remaining 30% drinks Robusta which is more bitter tasting but has 50% more caffeine than Arabica.

Besides, there are infinite varieties of coffee, starting with almost all alphabet found decorating the menu cards at cafes. Worlds largest coffee producing country is

1.Brazil (28% of total annual international yield) 2. Colombia (16%) 3. Indonesia (7%)

The country which tops in coffee consumption is Finland (12 kg of per capita consumption).USA occupies 27th position with 4.2 kg [A simple comparison because we will be satisfied only after knowing USA’s position in everything]. Our Motherland India is the least coffee consuming country(0.1 kg) sharing the position with 15 other countries.

Being the leading producer of coffee – Brazil occupies 17th position and the land of origin of coffee – Ethiopia occupies only 69th position in coffee intake.

BEAN BELT:

All coffee in the world grows in the BEAN BELT, the area between Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn extending about 1000 miles. Coffee grows in trees! Yes, they can be grown up to 30 feet tall but are cultivated to be around 10 feet tall (3 meters) for easy picking.

COFFEE SHOTS:

Coffee berries with fat formed edible energy balls and it was originally eaten by African tribes. The light roasted coffee bean has rich caffeine content than the dark roasted bean, because more the bean are roasted more caffeine is cooked out of it.

BRAIN WAR:

In our brain there is something called adenosine and it only wants to hang out with certain receptors. When these two get together people get drowsy. When caffeine shoes up it attaches to the receptors so that adenosine cannot. Pituitary gland on seeing this thinks there is an emergency, so it tells the adrenal gland to produce adrenaline the result of which we are deprived of our drowsiness and feel like being energetic.

What we have seen is art with a cup. How about having a look at a fantastic masterpiece of art where 3604 cups of coffee is made into a giant Mona Lisa at Sydney, Australia. Those 3604 cups were each filled with different amount of milk to create different shades.

வாரத்தின் இறுதி நாள். மிஸ்டர் மேத்தா அன்றும், ஃபோனும் கையுமாக பிசியாக இருந்தாலும் உள்ளத்தின் பூரிப்பு முகமெங்கும் சிரிப்பாக வெளிப்பட்டது. “கண்டிப்பாக வந்துடனும். யெஸ், யெஸ். நாளைக்கு ஈவினிங்க் தான்” தன் நட்பு வட்டாரங்களுக்கும், தொழில் ரீதியான முகவர்களுக்கும், தொழிலாளர்களுக்கும் பர்சனலாக அழைப்பு விடுத்தார்.

சனிக்கிழமை மாலை 6 மணி – ஹோட்டல் ‘ஸ்பெண்ட் பார்சியூன்.’

அனைவரையும் முன்னின்று இன்முகத்துடன் வரவேற்று உபசரித்தார். இதனைப்போல பார்ட்டிகளெல்லாம் புதிதல்ல என்றாலும், என்றுமில்லாத மிதமிஞ்சிய மகிழ்சியுடன் மேத்தா காணப்பட்டதற்கு காரணம் தன் குடும்பத்துடன் நெடு நாட்களுக்குப்பிறகு நேரம் செலவிடமுடிந்ததும், அதற்கு வழிவகுத்த லாபகரமான தொழில்யுக்தியும் (‘ மேக்ஸிமம் பிராபிட் ஆப் தி குவார்டர்’ ).

அனைவரின் பாராட்டுகளும், வாழ்த்துகளும் நிறைவை தந்த பொழுதும் கையில் வைத்திருந்த குவலையிலிருந்த அருமருந்தே மேலும் மனநிறைவை தருவதைப்போல் உணர்ந்தவர் விடாது தொடர்ந்தார் இரவு வரை.

மறுநாள். முன்தினம் வந்திருந்த அனைவரும், அதில் விட்டுப்போனவர்களும் கூட வந்திருந்தனர். சற்று மாறி இருந்தது இடமும் அவர்களின் உணர்ச்சியும் மட்டுமே.

ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை காலை 6 மணி – ஹாஸ்பிட்டல் ‘ரீகெயின் ஹெல்த்’.

ஒருவரது வரவுக்காக காத்திருந்த அனைவரும் தொலைவில் மற்றொருவரது முகம் பார்த்ததும் நிம்மதிப்பெருமூச்சு விட்டனர். ஆனால் முகம் வாடிய நிலையில் வெள்ளை ஆடை அணிந்திருந்த அவர் சொன்னார் “லிவர் பெயிலியர். ஸாரி!”

யார் செய்ததற்கு யார் சொல்வது – “ஸாரி?!?”

தாய்-அம்மா

தாய் –அம்மா

சுபமங்கள மஹாலில் நாளைய முகூர்த்தத்திற்கான வேலைகளை ஒருபுறம் மும்முரமாக கவனித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார் நவநீதன். அன்றைய தினம் மாலை நிகழவிருக்கும் நிச்சயத்திற்கான ஏற்பாடுகள் ஏறக்குறைய முடிந்துவிடும் தருவாயில் இருந்தது.

வரவேற்பு பந்தலில் சந்தனம் குழைத்து, இனிப்புகள் நிரப்பி, ரோஜா மலர்களை பரப்பி,பன்னீரை குவளையில் நிரப்பி இவற்றை முறையாக எடுத்துவைப்பது முதல்அடுப்பங்கரையில் கேசரியின் இனிப்பும், இட்லி சாம்பாரின் காரமும், ஐஸ்கிரிமின் ஜில்லென்ற தன்மையும் பதமாக உள்ளதா என பார்ப்பது வரை எல்லா காரியங்களையும் சுழன்று சுழன்று கவனித்தாள் தாய்யம்மா.

இடையிடையே மணமகள் அறையினுள் கவனத்தை செலுத்தி ஏதேனும் அழுகுரல் கேட்கிறதா என்பதை கண்டறிந்து, எந்த தொந்தரவும் இல்லாமல் குழந்தையின் சிரிப்பு சப்தம் கேட்டால் நிம்மதி பெருமூச்சுடன் தனக்கென உள்ள ஆயிரத்தி எட்டு வேலைகளில் முழ்கிடுவாள்.

திருமணம் நிகழவிருப்பது ரிடயர்டு தாசில்தார் நவநீதனின் மகள் கயல்விழிக்கு. அவளிடம் முழுஉரிமை தந்தையைவிட, தாயயம்மாவுக்கே அதிகம். தான் பெறவில்லை எனினும் இருபத்திமுன்று வருடம் வளர்த்தவள் ஆயிற்றே . அந்த வீட்டில் தாயம்மாள் வேலை செய்தால் என்றாலும் நவநீதானிடம் மிகுந்த மரியாதையும் கயலிடம் அளவற்ற பாசமும் கொண்டிருந்தாள். கயலும் தாயம்மாளை அம்மா என்றே அழைத்தாள்.

நல்ல நேரம் நெருங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கையில் நவநீதன் கயல்விழியை அழைத்து வருமாறு கூற தாயம்மாள் அறையினுள் சென்று மணமகள் அலங்காரத்திலிருந்த கயல் தன் குழந்தை ஆனந்தியோடு விளையாடுவதை நோக்கினாள். தாயம்மாள், கயல் தன்னிடம் ஆசிர்வாதம் பெற்றுக்கொண்டவுடன் அவளை உச்சி முகர்ந்து முத்தமிட்டாள். கை பிடித்து மேடைக்கு அழைத்து வந்து நிச்சய தாம்பூலம் மாற்றுவதை கண்டு மனதார வாழ்த்தி மகிழ்ச்சியுற்றாள்.

இனி மற்றவைகளை நவநீதனிடம் விடுத்து அறைக்கு திரும்பி தன் குழந்தை உறங்குவதை உறுதி செய்தவள், களைப்பு மிகுதியால் தானும் ஒரு மூலையில் படுத்து கண் அயர்ந்தாள்.மண்டபத்தில் அரங்கேறிக்கொண்டிருந்த வாத்தியங்களின் இசையோ, திரளாக வாழ்த்த வந்திருந்த மக்களின் ஆரவாரமோ அவளது ஆழ்ந்த தூக்கத்தை கலைக்கவில்லை.

ஆனால் திடீரென்று அழத்தொடங்கிய தன் குழந்தையின் குரல், வெளியே நிலவிய களேபரத்துடன் ஒப்பிடும் போது மெல்லியது தான். அப்படியிருக்க அந்த சினுங்கல் எவ்வளவு விரைவாக உடுருவிச்சென்று அவளது தூங்கிக்கொண்டிருந்த மூளையை தட்டி எழுப்பியதோ தெரியவில்லை, நொடிப்பொழுதில் கண்விழித்து குழந்தையை வாரி அணைத்து சமாதானப்படுத்தினாள், ” என்னம்மா, என்ன ஆச்சு என் அம்மாவுக்கு! என் ஆனந்தக் கண்ணம்மா!! என் தாயம்மா!!!” என்று.

CORRUPTION

CORRUPTION – The term which should have been eroded long back, even without knowing glimpse of its existence, has become a fashionable term of the era, with its roots – strong and wide spread, finding firm grip deep in the history posing threat to mankind more than a century thereby protruding into the future making it dark as well.

Though there seems to be plentiful of measures to curb this menace out of the mind of people and few are overwhelmingly involved in the process of throwing out this evil term, the results and remedies are not as flourishing as intended to be.

The prime reason which hurdles, is the political supremacy of those whose are explicitly in want of power along with riches. Gone are the days when we used the definition ‘Democracy means government of the people, for the people and by the people’. The exact present is in the clutches of plutocrats.

“Power does not corrupt men;fools, however, if they get into a position of power, corrupt power” is George Bernard Shaw’s view.

Yet this cannot be the only reason for such an enormous rotten state prevailing today. Only when analyzing from inside out, the genuine truth could be hit, as put forth by Eric Hoffer,

“It has often been said that power corrupts. But it is perhaps equally important to realize that weakness too corrupts. Power corrupts the few while weakness corrupts the many. Hatred, malice, rudeness, intolerance and suspicion are the faults of weakness. The resentment of the weak does not spring from any injustice done to them but from their sense of inadequacy and impotence.”

The reason behind all this destruction and devastation does not lie with someone else or somewhere around but within everyone and everywhere around.More than caste, creed or religion the slow poison that is creating diversification among the people is ‘money‘. Now the cold war is between ‘haves‘ and ‘have nots‘ in all sector.

People have been brainwashed to be slaves in their way of living but decently, making themselves lost for the smell of money.The rational thinking of people is the only entity to avoid even a pin hole of adverse effect but the case here is completely reverse creating large pit falls for themselves.

This is not in any sense an easy task to be done just like that, unless and until, each and everyone is unconditionally willing to abide by the simple rule – surrendering ourselves against corruption, thus putting a full stop to the long running catastrophic disaster and continuing with a comma for the progression of human race globally! .

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

Being human, we must be full of pride for we are of capable of turning all our desires into reality. Nevertheless, the whole concept remains a mystery as how many are aware of this. We can never sustain in the present changing world just alone with the righteous thought, without bearing in mind that every dream has to be accomplished before it is too late. The spark which serves for this attitude is ‘ BE inspired and aspire to BE‘.

The thought which inspires oneself should be truly realistic and not a mere fantasy. “Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when you have only one idea” applies rightly to this concept. Rather than being star-struck or taking up the stinking idea of following the dreams of other personalities, it is always better to have deep passion in exploring ideas that is resting in peace, deep within each and everyone, because in one way or the other it will lead to the ultimate destiny visualized by our great leaders for the upliftment of oneself or society or nation or whatever it is concerned with.

From Swami Vivekananda to Dr.A.P.J. Adbul Kalam, all have been the strong driving force thereby contributing to the attainment of key note – developed India. In every aspect, the core of focus relies on none other than youth. Henceforth, it is time to think, think, think and plunge into action, marching towards the goal.

“If you only do what you know you can do – you never do very much”

Hence in order to show the world who we are, the foremost thing required is doing things that we are interested in, than with the wandering thought of whether to take up or not.

Nothing and no one can stop us from emerging if we are determined to take up tools for our assistance like self-awareness, self esteem, self confidence, self interest, self motivation, self improvement, self involvement, self trust, self determination and self will, all of which must be exhibited full fledged as though we are the overall possession of such things.

Serious attention should be paid, to see that we do not overshoot, else it would mess up with the entire idea.

Let us resurrect and project ourselves into limelight by idolization and achieving our very own dreams making an epitome for the generations to come.

Life is only once and it is true only when you are you. So love it and live it to the fullest but never leave it just like that!

பணக்காரன்!

பணக்காரன்!

ரெஸடாரென்டினுள் நுழைந்தான் தர்மா. மணி இரவு 8:30 என்று காட்டியபடி சுழன்றது கடிகாரமுள். “வெயிட்டர்” என்றழைத்து தனது டின்னருக்கான மெனுவை “ஒன் பர்கர் அண்ட் ஒன் மினி கோக்” என கூலாக ஆர்டர் செய்தான். எனினும் ஒருவித சலனத்துடன் அடிக்கடி பர்ஸை எடுப்பதும் பணத்தை எண்ணுவதுமாக இருந்தான்.

மெனு வந்தது. சற்று நேரத்திற்கெல்லாம் வெயிட்டரும் வந்தான் ’48 ரூபாய்‘ பில்லுடன். எண்ணி சரியாக ரூபாய் எடுத்து வைத்துவிட்டு தன்னுடைய பைக்கில் விரைந்தான்.

புத்தகம்படிப்பதை பொழுதுபோக்காக கொண்டிருந்தவன்பக்கங்களின் இடையே சில்லறை காசை ‘புக்மார்க்‘காக வைக்கும் பழக்கமிருந்ததை நினைத்து பெருமிதம் கொண்டான். அப்படி அனைத்து புத்தகங்களிலிருந்தும் சிரமப்பட்டு தேடி எடுத்து வநதது தான் தற்போது கையிலிருந்த 49 ரூபாய்.

தெருக்கோடியை அடைந்தவுடன் செல்போன் சிணுங்கியது . மறுமுனையில் “இன்னைக்கு கோடி ரூபாய் மதிப்புள்ள அசெயின்மன்ட் ஒண்ணுல கையெழுத்து போட்டிருக்கேன். நீ சீக்கிரமா ஊருக்கு வந்திரு . நீதான் அதை பார்த்துக்கனும். அப்புறம் நீ கேட்ட பணத்தை இன்னைக்கு போட முடியல. நாளைக்கு காலைல பணம் உன் கையிலிருக்கும்“. பதிலாக “சரிப்பா” என்ற ஒற்றை சொல்லுடன் தொடர்பை துண்டித்தவன் “அய்யா! தர்மம் பண்ணுங்க” என்னும் குரல் கேட்டு திரும்பினான்.

மீதமிருந்த ஒற்றை ரூபாய் நினைவுக்குவந்ததும் அதை எடுக்க பர்ஸை திறந்தவனை பார்த்து சிரித்தன உள்ளிருந்த நான்கைந்து ஏ.டி.எம் கார்டுகள். அதனை பொருட்படுத்தாது ஒற்றை ரூபாயை முதியவருக்கு கொடுத்துவிட்டு சிறு புன்னகையுடன் தெருக்கோடியை கடந்து இருப்பிடம் நோக்கி புறப்பட்டான்.

Mere color, unspoiled by meaning, and unallied with definite form, can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways – OSCAR WILDE

Black and White… This has got no serious sense here, as is the case with untouchability or apartheid yet it indeed has a notable consideration to be dealt with as a color on the basis of justification!

Colors are the one that makes world worth admiring, rather than just seeing. They are the life providers of all things around, with respect to vision perspective. All colors have certain range of wavelength and possess a similar property that makes them fall under the category of ‘colors’ exception being BLACK and WHITE. But can black and white be rightly called as the color is the greatest question mark.

A well-known fact is, the most fascinating and common combination among colors tend to be Black and White. Yet it seems there is no single point that supports it but immense controversies seem to apply for each of these as a color.

Black is not strictly a color as it is the absence of all color. Black is the total absorption of all colors and the absence of light. It absorbs all aspects of light.

Black can be defined as the visual impression experienced when no visible light reaches the eye. Pigments or dyes that absorb light rather than reflect it back to the eye “look black”. A material is said to be black if most incoming light is absorbed equally in the material and reflects none of them to the eyes.

Is WHITE a color?

White is not a single color rather it is the blending of all colors. White reflects all the colors of the visible light spectrum to the eyes.

EXPLANATION:

Light appears colorless or white. Sunlight is white light that is composed of all the colors of the spectrum. A rainbow is proof. You can’t see the colors of sunlight except when atmospheric conditions bend the light rays and create a rainbow. You can also use a prism to demonstrate this.

FACT: The sum of all the colors of light adds up to white.

Positive, well-balanced, optimistic, highly individualistic personality. It is a color of peace and success.

About black:

The most easily made mistake is to relate the concept of dark being the absence of light. This is correct, yet understand that in complete dark (the absence of light) our eyes could not perceive white or black simply because no light is present to be reflected off a “white” or “black” object and be received by our eyes.

In respect to this it would be possible to create 100% black only with a surface containing all colors; this being the only way to prevent any color from being reflected back to the beholder.

About white:

For the eye to perceive an object as white, the object must reflect all colors (or close to). A surface capable of reflecting all colors must be void in color itself, any color would hinder all color light to be reflected and thus would not create white perceived by our eyes.

கண்மூடினேன். சிந்தனையில் நிழலாடின இருபத்தைந்து வருடங்கள். ராகுலை முதன்முதலாக பார்த்து வீட்டிற்கு அழைத்துச்சென்றது, பள்ளி நாட்கள், கல்லூரி காலங்கள், அவன் வகிக்கப்போகும் மத்திய அரசுப்பணி அனைத்தும் பரவசம்கலந்த மனநிறைவை தரும் மனவோட்டமாக மாறியிருந்தது.

அந்த ஆனந்த தருணத்திற்கு இடையூறு விளைவிக்கும் விதமாக என்னிடம் கையொப்பம் கேட்கப்பட்டது. இங்குதான் என்றில்லாமல் நீட்டிய இடத்திலெல்லாம் கையொப்பத்தைப் பதிவுசெய்து ரெஜிஸ்டரை என்முன் அமர்ந்திருந்த அழுவலரிடம் கொடுத்தேன்.
